ArSRLM Conducts Workshop on “Amazon Karigar “ for Rural Women
The Arunachal State Rural Livelihood Mission, in collaboration with Amazon India, conducted a workshop on Amazon Karigar - a program to enable local artisans and sellers crafting authentic handmade products to become successful on the e-commerce site. The workshop was conducted today, on 6th June, 2025, at the State Banquet Hall, Itanagar, under the supervision of Livelihood Non-Farm Vertical. The event was graced by Shri Ojing Tasing, Hon’ble Minister RD & PR; Dr. Sonal Swaroop, Secretary RD & PR; and Smt. Sangeeta Yirang, CEO-cum-SMD, ArSRLM. More than 180 CRP-EPs who are also SHG members participated in the first-of-its-kind workshop, which focuses on the way forward for grounding the “Arunima Initiative” and enhancing market linkages for SHG products through SHG outlets, capacity building, and e-commerce support.
