A 4-day Training of Trainers (ToT) workshop on the Village Prosperity Resilience Plan (VPRP) under DAY-NRLM was conducted from 2nd to 5th June 2025 at Assam Agricultural University, Khanapara, Guwahati, for representatives from all 8 Northeast states. The training was conducted by the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) in collaboration with the Assam State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ASRLM). It focused on building capacity for preparing and integrating VPRP into the Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) through participatory planning and digital tools. Key components covered included Entitlements, Public Goods & Services, Social Development Plans, Livelihood Planning, and the use of the VPRP mobile app. The workshop emphasized immediate rollout planning, digital integration through LoKOS, and structured trainings at the state, district, and block levels to ensure smooth implementation. After the workshop, the Master State Resource Persons (MSRPs) will conduct training for State Resource Persons (SRPs) to further facilitate VPRP planning and rollout across the state.
